Welcome to the new year!

The New Year offers an opportunity to reflect on what brings us life. Are there ways we reframe our experiences to be more life giving? Are there people in whose presence we feel more authentic? Are there ways of interacting that feel truer to our nature? This may be a time to attune ourselves to something more.

It is said that God constantly whispers to us, but only those who are inwardly still have ears to hear. Perhaps you are facing life changes, and yearn for deeper meaning from this time. You may be longing to experience deep inner silence, but need a bit of encouragement. You may find that a fresh way of looking at the world brings you to a place of peace.

Our Center fosters transformation through programs, personal and group retreats, and individual or group spiritual direction.  Come on your own, bring a friend, or come with a group. Our winter catalog will be arriving in the mail soon and is available online at www.TransformationsCenter.org.  Please take a moment and see what opportunities the New Year may bring for you.

Hosting Environmentally "Green" Meetings

The Sisters of St. Joseph have four Generous Promises from which they base their work. One of those promises is "to take steps to strengthen, heal and renew the face of earth." Our team takes the following steps to help support this promise...
  • Food is served on reuseable dinnerware
  • Use compostable, disposable dinnerware when re-useable dinnerware is not practical.
  • Offer options to reduce food waste.
  • Use online communication and reservation services to reduce paper use.
  • Serve filtered water instead of bottled water.
  • Recycle paper, glass and plastic used before, during and after an event.
  • Provide receptacles for guests' recycleable goods.
  • Use natural cleaning and lawn care services to reduce the presence of chemicals.

For more ideas of ways to make your meetings green, please contact Danna at info@transformationscenter.org or call 269-381-6290 ext. 288.
