Richard Rohr is presenting at Transformations on June 10th!
This is huge. People have been known to fly to destinations to hear him speak in stadiums. You have the opportunity to hear him in our own Holy Family Chapel.
If you're not familiar with Fr. Richard Rohr, he's a Franciscan priest and founded the New Jerusalem Community in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1971, and the Center for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1986, where he presently serves as Founding Director. He now lives in a hermitage behind his Franciscan community in Albuquerque, and divides his time between local work and preaching and teaching on all continents.
One of his 40 books, "Everything Belongs" was the subject of Sr. Gertrude's Spiritual Literacy discussion last fall. His program in June will focus on themes from his latest book, "The Naked Now, Learning to See as the Mystics See."

"Carrie Newcomer, whose work also sparks discussion, will be onstage with me. If you don't know this superb singer-songwriter, you are in for a treat: visit her site. As Rolling Stone said, "Rapturously tuneful, Newcomer's material asks all the right questions and refuses to settle for easy answers." That's exactly what we hope to do at these conferences."
From Parker Palmer in the February 2010 "Words of Encouragement" newsletter from the Center for Courage and Renewal
